Helping Hatton Garden thrive

The Garden Club is an initiative designed to help support and sustain the jewellery trade within Hatton Garden, by supporting them to make new business connections, assess their productivity and help them identify new clients. The project was initially funded by Camden Council Section 106 funding secured to support the future sustainability of the jewellery sector in Hatton Garden, but now has no funding and is serving as a social group at present.

Centa (Camden Enterprises Ltd) is a Social Enterprise that has been working with businesses in Hatton Garden for over fifteen years. During that time, we have become committed to the health of the area, and seeing the trade based here survive and thrive.

The Garden Club project is led by Sally Leonard, who is a jeweller by trade, and a business consultant with nearly twenty years of experience working with small businesses, helping them with a range of challenges including production, strategy, market positioning and customer profiling. We aim to help businesses reach new clients, access work and increase productivity. She is the founder of Pendeloque Consulting, a consultancy firm specialising in supporting the jewellery and creative business communities.

Events, networking and connections

Our first event was held on the 28th November 2019, at the Castle pub in Farringdon and we've held a number of events since then, all in and around Hatton Garden.

Events are usually held every 6 weeks and are designed to help people within the industry connect with each other, in a more relaxed environment. Social events are a mixture of designers, manufacturers and allied trades. Join our mailing list and we can keep you up to date on upcoming events.

The Garden Club aims to help inform and support through a series of events that have a learning topic. These are either online, or  in-person events, depending on the needs of members.
